A little more about me…
My journey so far
I have worked in fashion for over 30 years, 20 of those spent living in Asia, most recently working in knitwear for a major retailer. After a particularly challenging few years I hit rock bottom and went through a programme of recovery which I continue to work today.
It was through this process that I learnt first-hand about the links between taking care of ourselves and how we show up in the world. All this, along with my training and Diploma in Personal Styling at London College of Style, has brought me to a place where I can now help others feel confident and empowered by the way they dress.
My philosophy of style
My career to date has been fun, exciting and creative. But fashion is also transient, and external to us. Style is deeper, more personal and more enduring. It lies within us until we find a way to express it.
Living and working abroad, and shopping the fashion capitals of the world, has exposed me to a wide range of vibrant cultures and experiences that inform my styling eye. Styling for me is multi-dimensional, I draw on a wealth of different elements and details plus a deep sense of inner connection to create a visual expression of a mood, a feeling or an occasion.
I believe in the true you
There can be so much pressure to look or be a certain way, and conform to other people’s expectations of us. I want to offer you a space to explore everything that is unique and special about you, so you can stand in your own beauty and power. If you’d like to talk to me, I’d love to hear from you.
Events and talks
Where possible, I like to provide my time to not-for-profit organisations at a reduced rate or free of charge. If you think my skills could benefit your cause, please contact me.
